Beauty favourites of 2017

Whilst I sit here this evening writing this post I'm listening to my favourite Christmas song by Wham! whilst wearing my Christmas jumper and enjoying the comfort of my new sofa.

Yes, you could say I'm one of those. The kind of person who celebrates Christmas early and loves the comfort of her own home. Don't get me wrong, I love a good night out with a glass of wine or two but the Christmas spirit is a new thing entirely to me.

Growing up my best friend's birthday was only a week before Christmas, and in order to keep her birthday special we would wait until after to celebrate. A few years ago she made the decision to move to New Zealand, and since then I have found all my festive spirit has come out in full force! I wouldn’t change growing up for the world though as I feel so blessed to have had such an amazing person by my side for so long. So until she decides to move back, I will embrace the inner child that has come out in me!

As we begin to round off another year in reflecting, looking back on what we've achieved and start to think about the new year. I wanted share with you a whole load of favourite's I've come to love these past eleven months.

A whole year makeup still takes up a massive part of my blog. I tried for a while to follow a new direction where I brought my love for books into the equation. Although I found it didn't work for me, and I wanted to go back to the reason I started blogging in the first place. To making this an open honest space, and sharing with you lifestyle and makeup reviews.

So as to celebrate the year coming to an end, I'm going to let you all in on my favourite products of 2017, which was far easier to put together than last years!

  4. I must be honest - I have never tried anything you mentioned in this post. I have wanted to, but we don't get most of these brands here :( if we did though then I would definitely be poorer because they look really good! Thank you for sharing x
