Autumn leaves

My favourite time of year has finally arrived! It's where we all start posting about how we can't wait to snuggle up in our wooly jumpers, whilst sipping our hot drinks. Or for some it's that time of year where you glam the house up with all things scary, and start to make the house smell like pumpkin from all the carvings!

Whatever it is you love most about Autumn finally arriving. I wanted to get us all in the spirit and dedicate this months post, to expressing all the things you should be looking forward to.

How to get the best out of Autumn

1. Watch Zoella' Autumn clothing haul and visit her Instagram. Her photos are the most seasonal pictures ever and they definitely get you in the mood for joining in on the festive spirit. If you never considered an orange shade of trousers before, you may now!

2. Go in search of parks to jump around in the leaves, whilst you take Autumn pictures in the process. This is your obligatory boots in the leaves photo reminder!

3. Pick your Halloween outfit and carve as many pumpkins as possible

4. Get back out those dark shades of lipsticks, because if your anything like me you will be living for them the next few months!

5. Buy all ranges of sweets ready for October 31st or you may have some very upset children at your doorstep. Be sure to put your pumpkins and decorations in the window so they know your home.

5. Go get yourself a Pumpkin Spice Latte at least once a week, or in my case it would be Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate. If you didn't already know, I'm not a fan off coffee, so what I've been doing the past few years is asking them to mix the different flavours with Hot Chocolate instead of coffee! This works the best at Christmas time, but I would never go missing out on my beloved Pumpkin Spice. This is honestly what dreams are made off. You will thank me later!

6. Choose a new bobble hat or find out your old one. Either way these are essentials for the cold frost that's starting to be in the air. It's also perfect for photos, no need to spend hours on your hair those days!

So there we have it. It's officialy going to be a month full of waking up freezing in the mornings, then by the afternoon's we are all melting from the heat. As you can already tell, I couldn't be more excited!

Thank you all for joining in with the Autumn spirit today. I would love to hear what your favourite parts of October are and what you're looking forward to most. Whatever it is you all get up to, I hope you enjoy it to the fullest.

Until next time.

  7. Tip #5 is excellent advice! I had to run out on Halloween when I was in college because we hadn't thought of candy and started getting a few trick-or-treaters...it was BAD!

    Yay for autumn!
