LUSH, Best Wishes

A few months ago I made the decision to take a new approach on my blog, to relaunch it not only in looks and style but to give it a more personal feel altogether.

In some ways I've progressed, in others I feel I'm still letting myself down. I started off with such high hopes the first few posts, until the doubt slowly started creeping in. The paranoid part of myself wondering am I sharing to much with the world, who will be reading this, and who will really care.

We reach today, over a week into the New Year and I feel I'm ready to really be true and honest with myself again. I want to start making this new journey on my blog, with all of you being a part of it with me. I may have let myself down before with not being able to write so open and honestly. I guess in life though, if we give up after just the first try we would never get anywhere in life.

All I can say is.

WATCH THIS SPACE.

Now to get onto the real meaning of this post, that is the beautiful brand Lush.

I first fell in love with it many moons ago, when I stumbled across a store in Cardiff at the merry old age of nineteen. Compared to a lot of others out there, I'm sure this seems a bit behind the times. It wasn't that I wasn't aware this shop existed, I just never knew what I was missing.

One of the first memories I have of this brand, is two male individuals sitting down one day telling me about there trip to Lush. I won't go mentioning any names, as to not embaress the two of them. But seeing as they weren't teenagers any longer, it makes it all the funnier.

We all know how mouth wateringly good Lush bath bombs smell, well these two agreed. So much to the point they decided to try biting one for a taste, whilst in store might I add.

Even with this story being many years old it still makes me laugh even to this day .

If you have any funny stories to do with Lush I would love to hear them!

I also wanted to say a massive thank you to my other half for buying me this particular present for Christmas. He did indeed go in store and smell them all to make sure my picky self would like each and every one of them. If that isn't gaining brownie points, I don't know what is.

I'm sure you have seen many people write this at Christmas, but what the hell I may as well get in on it to.

The boy did good.

What my box Included

  • x1 Christmas Angel Bath Bomb
  • x1 Cinderella Shoe Bath Bomb
  • x1 Castle Soap Bar
  • x1 Present Bath Bomb

I plan on saving them to be used on special occasions coming up over the next few weeks, so I will be doing individual reviews on each one.

In the mean time I would like to know which Lush selection boxes any of you may have received? Or ones that you would recommend.

Until next time.

  6. First of all.. don't feel like you're letting yourself down! Your blog is great and I love that you post about lots of different things. I know what you mean about worrying you're sharing too much. I felt the same with my 2017 Goals post but once I posted it, I felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders (kinda weird lol) I'm looking forward to reading your individual reviews on each of your Lush goodies. I've only ever used the Christmas Angel one from that gift set and I loved it! x

  9. Looking forward to seeing where you take your blog this year!

Lush is a shop which I very rarely shop in as it doesn't have the best relationship with my skin but their Happy Hippy shower gel is divine!

    Lovely post.
