Garnier Skin Active Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask

I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason.
This evening when I sat down to do some last minute blogging, before putting on my face mask with a film. I came across a blog talking about a few simple steps to take when using a face mask. It sounds silly, but when I use one. I never think to wash my hands and face before hand, or actually read the instructions.

So for the first time in my life, I read the back before applying it to my face.

Firstly, it talks about if your face is dehydrated. If so then it's the right one for you.
I'm going to be honest, I have no idea if it is or not. It's not like I can ask it. Hey, are you thirsty?

I have combination skin, which is the most frustrating thing. Some areas are greasy and others are dry. Nothing ever seems to work right, so I spend half my time buying products which are useless and searching for something, that will hopefully one day be the answer.

Even though I'm yet to apply this face mask, I already know it's not what I'm looking for. I'm after one which will really clear out my pores, especially around the nose area. I bought this, as I kept seeing so many people reviewing it and going on about how amazing it is.

So let's finally give this ago. It says to leave on for a total of 15 minutes. It's meant to leave your face smoother, giving you a more radiant complexion. Along with a plumper looking face.

Firstly, when trying to apply the face mask. It was so awkward, I had to peal off one side to then apply the other to my face. I managed to miss my eyes and awkwardly cover them because it was to big for my face. I finally got it so I could see out of the mask, and then the piece between my nose and mouth, kept going in my mouth.
So far it's not the most comfortable to wear, it also looks rediculos on. I know it's a face mask and it's not meant to be glamorous, but usually I'm not terrified someone is going to walk in and see my like this.

I spent entire 15 minutes feeling anything but relax, it felt awful on my skin. I honestly couldn't wait to get it off, I was counting down the minutes until I could. As I didn't want to waste the money on which has been spent on it.

Overall the product itself smelt really nice. The packaging is pleasing to the eye. I just didn't enjoy using it as much as I had hoped. I will admit I find it difficult with my sensitive skin, but the mask was just so heavy it made it an uncomfortable experience for me. My skin didn't feel any different after using it either, just a little tingly from my pores having opened.
