Essie Spring Collection

That time of year has come again, yes it's Spring. Since my last Nail Polish Blog review I started researching into some new brands I wanted to try out and put to the test.

For my first purchase I went and got one of the collection packs, which include four of the smaller size bottles. I thought this would be a great way to introduce me to the brand. On the far right of the picture above you can also see a fifth Nail Polish, this was an extra I added to my Shopping List.

GROW STRONGER BASE COAT

This is an essential part of your routine. I unfortunately learnt this the hard way, from years of painting my nails. I actually ended up staining them multiple different colours and wasn't able to get rid of it until I grew them out. It also keeps your nails strong and healthy protecting them from the chemicals your applying.

The collection itself doesn't include the base coat, so keep this in mind if your looking to buy them in one like I did.

HIGH CLASS AFFAIR / LOUNGE LOVER / SUNSHINE STATE OF MIND / OFF TOPIC

These are the four colours you receive when purchasing the Spring Collection. It starts with a subtle peachy cream, which to my surprise was actually pigmented. Usually the light cream tones appear really thin of your nails and just aren't worth the money.

The second is a vibrant pink which isn't over the top. This tone of colour I wouldn't wear myself, as I don't wear many vibrant colours in my wardrobe. But for those who like to go bold, it's perfect for making a statement.

The coral red is literally amazing, I have used this on my toe nails for weeks now and I can't get enough of it. Coral red's are really on trend right now and I can't see it going away any time soon.

The final colour is a deep green, I did find this one hard to get a night clean layer with. It was still pigmented but didn't find the applicator worked that well with the colour.

The whole collection is absolutely brilliant in terms of value for money, pigmentation and application. They are going to be releasing a new range of bottles soon, so I will be intrigued to see how these look in comparison.
