Brunch at Timmy Green

London has always been one of my favourite places to visit even from an early age. It feels like yesterday I would go with my family each year to explore and see new places, which eventually turned into day trips with friends and weekends away with loved ones. In recent years my other half and I have made it a tradition to visit in the winter and summer months to visit our favourite Londoners, have a few drinks and wonder around the streets of London.

Our most recent getaway last weekend was to go to Capitals Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium where we stayed in Ealing Broadway. It had been many years since I had last been to Wembley and if I remember correctly it was to see You Me At Six perform Final Night of Sin (sigh) and I was getting all emotional thinking back to how incredible the show was, oh they were the days!

Our morning was spent walking round the shops with a spot of sunbathing before finally heading into the stadium for the show to begin. I soon became a screaming loony when Camila Cabello, Rita Ora, Jess Gylnn, Demi Lovato, Anne Marie and many more artists entered the stage to perform their top hits. The Sumertime Ball pleasantly surprised me and would definitely go again.

The morning after a few drinks and we were in need of some food to wake us up so we decided upon the location of Timmy Green in Victoria's newest upscale development and it seemed like the perfect fit for brunch.

With marble tables, glass walls, hanging vines and colourful teapots, it was hard not to appreciate my surroundings. The staff were so unbelievably polite and helpful on arrival giving us the option to sit inside or out and giving us plenty of time to relax before ordering. It would have been lovely to sit outside and enjoy the views although with the early morning sunrise, the sun wasn't quite out yet and we opted for an indoor view.

From pancakes to cooked breakfasts and something a little bit healthier there was an option for everyone. With my initial reaction of Timmy Green being that it's going to be an expensive brunch, it turned out to pleasantly surprise me with similar prices to your day-to-day restaurants.

With green tea and buttermilk blueberry pancakes going down a treat, I can honestly say I would happily go back again and try one of the many other options on the menu. Not only is there a Timmy Green in Victoria, there are other locations across London to choose from with names such as Daisy Green, Beany Green, Scarlett Green etc. which can be found on their website.

Do you have a favourite place you enjoy going for brunch? I would love to hear some suggestions for our next trip in a few weeks time.

As always, until next time.
