Zoeva Plaisir Box

Zoeva, now where do I start. Let's just take a few moments to look how utterly beautiful this brand is. It takes a lot for me not to find a fault in something when I try a new brand. Today though my lovely readers, there will be no negatives. I know, I can hardly believe my ears either!

For today's post I want to share with you all the eyeshadow box which contains three palettes. This is available on the Zoeva website. Each palette can also be found separately which is also brilliant.

As you can see in the photograph above all three palettes arrive in a little box called 'Plaisir' which is honestly the cutest thing. I will definitely be using it to store them in still, as they are perfectly slotted inside so you can see and pick out which palette you want to use that day.

Blanc Fusion - 'Bright and innocent pigments'

The first eyeshadow palette in the three part collection would be the lightest in the box. The top line has shimmery tones where as the bottom line has matte shades. I've only used this one once so far, but all blend and work well together. The pigmentation wasn't as strong as I had hoped for, but they definitely create a lovely natural look. Which would be perfect if you always wear makeup to work or just simply love rocking the natural look which I know I certainly do!

A perfect little palette which that I'm sure I will be getting plenty of use out of. There are not particular scents with these palettes either, which I guess isn't a bad thing. I've just got used to using Too Faced for so long now and having my eyeshadows smell like chocolate. I guess I will just have to eat chocolate while doing my makeup instead!

Caramel Melange - 'Smooth caramel shades'

As soon as I opened this palette all I could think of was autumn, warm winter shades. This palette came at the perfect time with it just turning September. I honestly think I'm in love. I mean how could I not be? The warm reds, oranges and browns are everything I want to be using right now and I could not be more happy. I found these to have a lot more pigmentation than the first palette.

The last four shades on the right side of the palette are a shimmery formate again, which I think is brilliant that they are putting in a variety. They all blend together really well, and even though the three palettes are all separate. They look and work together brilliantly.

Cocoa Blend - 'With superb ingrediants'

I'm not quite so sure on the tag line they gave for this one, but lets just role with it shall we. I expected this final palette to be showing more deeper shades, which would allow me to create an intense smokey eye look. Instead I found it just gave me similar ones to the previous two, with an extra two dark browns in the mix (there's no green unfortunately, the picture just makes it look like that. I would of been much happier with a green!)

This is the only palette I haven't used yet and I'm a little disappointed. Zoeva you missed a trick with this one but I'm still going to give it ago soon! With two out of three palettes being amazing, I can't not be pleased with my choice to purchase the Plaisir Box.

I would love to heard more on this brand from you all and what else is good to try! I hope you enjoyed this review and my first experience of Zoeva.
If you would like me to do another review on the makeup brushes I also purchased (shown in top picture) please do message me on Twitter or leave a comment below.

As always, until next time.

  3. Thank you for this post -- I'd actually never heard of Zoeva until reading it! You get endless variety with eyeshadow palettes like these. And the colors in these palettes are amazing. I've got a soft spot in my heart for shimmery browns and caramels, so I'd definitely go with that one. I've just never mastered the art of using brighter colors!

One thing I always enjoy about your posts is that you're very honest. If you don't like something or you don't feel like it's that great - you'll say it. I can trust what you say about something. :)
